The rezoning of Hanover Ave was passed on 8/12 (very quickly). If they can pull off the Ridgedale Ave changes it would be great but like you say probably unlikely. They will definately need to do something on Ridgedale.
Sorry but I am for the development of Hanover. I would love to have a main st in Hanover that is similar to Madison. Let \'s get to work on this now. Also, let\'s get Whippany Village done correctly.

I have just read in the newspaper that the Township Committee members plan on re-zoning Hanover Avenue for retail/big box stores, etc.Three of them also plan on reducing Ridgedale Avenue between Cedar Knolls Road and Malapardis Rd. from four lanes to two lanes.What...more
Are they NUTS?! Read the Hanover Eagle article. They\'ve gotta be kidding me. Sure let\'s up the population of our town and then do some reverse-engineering. Ridgedale practically needs a THIRD lane going each way...oh but one lane makes much more sense...wow.
He was moved because there is literally absolutely no reason to have a stationed police officer at a school that, at its worst, provides one minor scuffle between two girls whose combined weights equal something scraping 150 lbs.
The Mayor, regardless of who it happens to be at the moment, or any individual member of the Township Commitee, would not have unilateral hiring / firing authority. Those decision are left up to the department heads.
